MTA NSW will be hosting several regional competitions in the lead up to the National World Skills Competition held in Melbourne in 2023. A selection eight MTA NSW trained apprentices competed against each other in a series of paint and panel style challenges.
On Monday 28th, six apprentices from across NSW came together at Axalta Training Centre in Marsden Park to compete for a spot in the Nationals. All apprentices specialise in paint and were required to show a variety of skills involving spray painting, buffing and design layout.
Winners were selected on the day by a team of judges who marked each contestant on a variety skills and specifications.
